If you live in an area with weak or inconsistent Helium IoT coverage, you can often fix the issue with a small LoRaWAN gateway installed at your home, farm, workshop or business.
These gateways act like “mini masts” — they listen for tracker signals and forward them to the network. Even just onewell-placed gateway can dramatically improve coverage across your local area.

How It Works

You install a small LoRaWAN gateway at your home, farm or business — usually on an outside wall or roofline for the best signal.

The gateway listens for your tracker, even if you're in a weak coverage area. Typical coverage: 2-10 km depending on terrain, height and obstructions.

Your tracker sends its locations through your gateway, giving you reliable tracking where coverage was previously poor

Your gateway also helps the wider Helium IoT network, improving coverage for your area and supporting other users.
